Solution Architect (2 Positions)

Our client is a Microsoft-partnered company whose solutions leverage the capabilities of the Microsoft ecosystem. For this role, however, we seek a Solutions Architect with a technology-agnostic mindset. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across other provider ecosystems including Java, Unix, Oracle, and AWS. This role requires a comprehensive blend of technical proficiency, strong consulting skills, a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, excellent stakeholder management, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement technical solutions that align with business requirements, irrespective of the technology platform.

Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into technical specifications.

Conduct architectural analysis and design for systems spanning various platforms and environments.

Provide hands-on support to the team, solving complex problems, and ensuring the quality of the solution through oversight and adherence to good practices.

Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in on solution architecture and design.

Review project objectives to ensure alignment with organizational goals by providing guidance and consultancy to project teams.

Assist in estimating and planning work, ensuring tasks are appropriately scoped and scheduled.

Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across Lantern and customer teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role.

Expertise in system architecture across various technologies, including Microsoft, Java, Unix, Oracle and AWS.

Experience with cloud solutions such as AWS and Azure.

Strong consulting, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent communication, presentation skills.
